Uva Kuda Gama Project

In response to a paper article which appeared in the “Dinamina” paper, we decided to collect funds among the staff of Seylan Bank Malabe Branch the branch to help a poor family of 10 in the Uva Kuda Gama area.

We were able to locate this family with help of the journalist who was responsible in publishing the article.

We visited the family and bought them raw material to build a new roof for the dwelling which was in the verge of collapsing. With the balance funds available we were able to buy this family some household needs such as buckets, lanterns, cooking utensils & provisions which would last for about a week.
